School Band Trip for 2011
The Germantown School Board has approved the travel request for the 2011 GHS band trip to New York City. The trip will take place April 21-27, 2011.
The Trip will include a performance by all band students on the trip, a Broadway musical and one other musical performance, tours of many of the sights in New York, all transportation and entrance fees for places we will tour, 12 meals, and many, many memories.
There are requirements that each person going on the trip must meet. These are covered in the band handbook and will be discussed on the first day of school. The cost of the trip is predicted to be around $950. As details of the trip are finalized, a final price will be announced.
